Member Societies

The American Institute of Physics (AIP) is an umbrella organization with 10 Member Societies and 25 Affiliate Societies, working together to advance the physical sciences and to serve the physical sciences community. AIP is one of the world's largest publishers of physics journals and provides a spectrum of publishing services and community resources for its Member Societies, individual scientists, and the general public.

Member Society membership includes a non-deductible subscription to Physics Today, AIP's flagship publication that delivers original articles and timely news on groundbreaking research in physics and related sciences. Article Packs: Article Packs give you flexible online access to key research articles spanning from 1931 to the present. Select and download articles in PDF format from across the collection of 10 AIP Online Journals as well as AIP Conference Proceedings Online. Packs are available in 12, 25, and 50 articles. You are entitled to the member price if you are a member of one of the 10 AIP Member Societies. During the registration process you will have the option of entering your society membership ID number which will entitle you to a special discount price for Article Packs.
